Restorative Yoga for Life
Sunday, April 26 — 3:30pm - 5:30pm
Restorative yoga has become increasingly more popular as the pace of our everyday life has become more frenetic. The postures are held longer than active poses, so they have time to penetrate your body's systems. Learn how to set up and hold the shapes of a backbend, forward bend, twist, and inversion with the support of props. Come learn to let go and enjoy the effects of this powerful practice.
What to bring: Bring a bolster or at least two blankets and two blocks. (Towels and bed pillows can also be used).
Restorative yoga practice.

Incorporating Restorative Poses in Active Classes
Sunday, April 26 — 8:00am - 10:00am
Most yoga classes have an active approach to strengthening and stretching the body, and include a balance of backbends, forward bends, twists, inversions, and Savasana. But sometimes you need more rest than activity. Come learn to integrate restorative postures into your more active classes--most students don't admit to wanting a more restorative practice, but once they experience it, they are grateful that you snuck it in!
Discussion and asana practice.
